I do not often get the opportunity to spend time in nature, but when I do, I grab it with both hands. Concrete and bricks just do not match nature when it comes to life changing experiences. Fact is, what can bricks and concrete teach you? Nature on the other hand is a bustling hub of life.
Everyday I drive past a beautiful open field on my way to work. I do not like traffic jams, but I am glad that there is one on this particular road since it gives me the opportunity to observe how nature changes during different seasons.
Recently we had a very dry season and the usually beautiful green field turned into a dull and lifeless field. The only thing that could save it was rain. Ironically instead of rain, I observed how a fire destroyed it all. The only thing left was the lingering smell of burnt grass. Finally we had some rain and I could admire the spectacle of life as it returned to the destroyed field. It started with a few new green blades of grass but has since grown into a beautiful and lush green field. I have never seen it so beautiful. Just shows you what a few drops of water can do! Incredibly I had a similar experience in my personal life at more or less the same time.
