Ultimately the worst experience ever

I really enjoyed my work and was giving it all I could, because indirectly I made a difference in the lives of people.  Suddenly on a Friday morning a senior person accused me of poor performance. To say the least, I was shocked out of my socks. My feelings of joy and peace were all gone and replaced by intense feelings of anger, immense frustration and complete hopelessness. A poor performance report was a first for me. The report was strictly negative and mostly uncalled for. Hundred percent of the good work that I’ve done, was completely ignored. The whole situation was totally unfair and I really felt that I was being punished for something I did not deserve. I did not know what to do…

 

Then I realised that my situation was really a minor when compared to other situations where people were treated unfairly. Just imagine how a rape victim must feel... Just imagine how Jesus, must have felt. He had to take the punishment for all the murders, robberies, rapes, lies, and other wrong doings of every person ever born in this world. His emotions were so intense that he sweated blood. Will you do the same for other people? The love of Jesus is beyond human understanding.       

 

Wow, now I can give the problem to the Lord with the knowledge that Jesus loves me beyond human understanding. He also says that everything works out for good for them that love the Lord. I thank the Lord for giving me peace and joy in this difficult situation and also for the growth in my relationship with him. He is leading my thoughts to help me resolve the problem, but also teaching me. I do not know what yet, but am sure I soon will.
