No more tears - submitted by Donald and Gwen King

When our daughters were small probably about aged 7 & 11 they were riding their bicycles in the street, in Aliwal North, when we lived there. The youngest one fell off the bicycle and the stick that she had in her hand, stuck her in the one eye, right next to the tear duct, the stick actually made a hole into her nose. We rushed her to the local doctor, who examined the wound and said that he was not prepared to treat her as it was too deep. He said that we must take her to a specialist. The nearest specialist was about 200Km.

We rushed off to Bloemfontein and arrived about 9pm and went to the hospital where a specialist examined her and told us that the damage was so severe, and he could do repairs to the eye lid but she would have a runny eye for life.

We asked our friends and others to pray and we also contacted the Baptist minister in Bloemfontein who came to the hospital and prayed for our daughter.

Well , the result today our daughter has a deformed eyelid but no other side effects, the tear duct totally healed. All we can say is that God healed her.
