Life is short

Yesterday I saw an old man who is in his last days with cancer.  His face was yellow and he could not walk anymore.  Some cancers cause a person's skin color to change to yellow.  The more yellow the closer to your last day here on earth.

Seeing him made me think of where I am and what I am doing here on earth.  My thoughts ranged from I must live a full live; do all the things I still want to do as quickly as possible;  it might be my turn to die tomorrow.  The obvious qualification for you to be able to do all you want every day while on earth is time.  We just do not have enough and there are just to many things.  On the other hand if I am going to die in any case, why stress about what I am going to do with the time I'm here.

For me the only answer is that I am 100% sure where I am going the day I die.  I will experience the best of everything in heaven and on top of that, I will be there for eternity.  Well then, why did I ever think about what to do with my time while alive.  The obvious answer is not to worry about how much time I have, but rather try to do what I can to tell other people that there is no need to stress about time.  That is off course if you have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
